Our Creapail decorative and chair-caning twine is an excellent choice for crafting straw-like objects or whenever a small-diameter, durable twine is needed. Derived from our Toronpail product designed for chair caning, Creapail with its 2 mm and 2,5mm diameters allows for the creation of various items requiring precision work. Made from 100% cellulose, it stands out for its strength and ease of handling when moistened, making it a truly unique product. Whether you are crafting decorative accessories, baskets, or other items, this small-diameter natural fiber twine is perfect for both individuals and professionals. The different diameters and color options available make it easy to create unique pieces while ensuring flexibility and high quality.
Decoration and chair caning
The Creapail is handcrafted in France at our workshop in Entre-Deux-Guiers. Made from 100% french wood fibers sourced from sustainability managed forests, this twine is specially designed for precise weaving and crafting. It also offers outstanding tensile strength and moisture resistance.
Available in spools ranging from 100 to 1 000 meters, Creapail is the ideal companion for all your creative or professional projects.
Available diameters : 2 mm and 2,5 mm (other diameters available upon requests).
The paper used, wich is water-resistant, is further reinforced during manufacturing. A wax coating is applied along with optional coloration using specific pigments to seal the pores and make the surface slightly water-repellent before the twisting phase. Finally, the twine spools are dried for several hours to ensure the product remains stable and durable over time.
Creapail is available in several colors: natural and Ochre.
The spools come in various formats to suit your specific needs, including 100 m, 250 m, and 1 000 m options. This product is offered in 2 mm and 2,5 mm diameters, wich are standard sizes for leathercraft and creative hobby projects.
