Toronpail is proudly made in France, in our factory located in Entre Deux Guiers.
Crafted from 100% french wood fibers sourced from sustainably managed forests, this strand has been specially designed for chair caning. It offers exceptional resistance to tension and moisture, ensuring the longevity and durability of your restoration and caning projects.
Our small spools are perfect for repairing a single chair or for occasional crafting, while the 700 meter coils can be used to cane up to 6 chairs.
The variety of available diameters frim 2 mm to 7,5 mm, allows you to unleash your creativity and explore a wide range of designs.
The paper used, which is water-resistant, is further reinforced during the manufacturing process. A wax coating is applied along with any optional color using specific pigments to seal the pores and make the strand slightly water-repellent before the twisting phase.
Finally, toronpail spools are dried for several hours to ensure the product’s long-term stability and durability.
Toronpail is available in several colors, including natural and ochre. The spools come in various sizes to suit your specific needs, ranging from 150 m to 1 000m.
